White House launching fact-finding sessions on AI uses

The White House Office of Science and Technology Policy announced plans for a series of events dedicated to gathering opinions on artificial intelligence deployments that will go toward drafting a Bill of Rights for an Automated Society. There will be two listening sessions on AI-powered biometric technologies and six public stakeholder meetings to weigh the risks and benefits AI poses to various user groups and rights. The first biometric tech listening session will be held Nov. 18.
