UK's data reform consultation deadline approaching

The deadline to submit comments to the U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office’s consultation on proposed reforms of data use and regulation is Nov. 19. The reforms outlined by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport emphasize further consideration of innovation, growth and threat prevention as it relates to how personal data is used while also tailoring laws to enable those considerations.
