Trading app breach included thousands of phone numbers

In addition to email addresses, full names and other sensitive information, a data breach that impacted about 7 million users of trading application Robinhood also included around 4,400 phone numbers, Vice reports. In a statement, Robinhood said it determined stolen data also contains “other text entries that we’re continuing to analyze.� The company reiterated Social Security, bank account or debit card numbers do not appear to have been exposed and customers did not experience financial loss because of the breach.
