Supervisory authorities investigate clothing website’s GDPR compliance

Supervisory authorities from France, Lithuania and Poland are conducting a joint investigation into EU General Data Protection Regulation compliance of clothing website Vinted. The authorities have established a working group facilitated by the European Data Protection Board to coordinate action to resolve “a significant number of complaints.” The investigation is focused on Vinted’s practices around unblocking funds received from sales on a user’s account and corresponding retention periods.
