Italy enforces vaccine passport mandate for all workers

Starting Oct. 15, Italy began requiring every citizen to display their government-issued “Green Pass” verifying their vaccination status to go to work and other public places, The Washington Post reports. Without the QR code, workers must either test negative for COVID-19 every 48 hours or stay home without pay. Of the regulation, Professor of Microbiology and Virology at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University Roberto Burioni said, “Freedom is something very important in a democracy. But the limit of freedom is when you damage other people.”
