Ill. Judge Pauses McDonald's BIPA Dispute Over Similar Case

By Ben Kochman (December 14, 2021, 9:07 PM EST) — An Illinois federal judge has agreed to pause claims made by a former employee at a Chicago McDonald’s franchise that her bosses’ timekeeping system breached the Biometric Information Privacy Act, citing similar litigation playing out in state court.
