IAB Europe’s Guide to In-Gaming includes calls to protect children’s data

The Interactive Advertising Bureau released its “Guide to In-Gaming,� including calls for protection of children’s data in video game advertising. The guide discusses various forms of in-game advertising, how it works and best practices. It recommends age ratings for all games to indicate those more likely to be played by adults, using age-restricted information to exclude applications targeting children from the app store, and targeting advertising to parents not children.
