Ga. Judges Denies TRO In Stolen Data Case

By Kelcey Caulder (July 12, 2022, 9:33 PM EDT) — A Georgia federal judge said she wouldn’t issue a temporary restraining order that a property damage consulting company says would prevent a rival from utilizing stolen trade secrets.

During a motion hearing on Tuesday, U.S. District Judge Eleanor L. Ross denied a request from consulting company R.L. Young LLC, doing business as Young & Associates, for a temporary restraining order that would prevent Undisputed Consulting LLC and one of its founders, Michael Walker, from disclosing, using, accessing, retaining or failing to return the more than 30,000 confidential files that were allegedly stolen shortly before Walker left Young & Associates.
