The Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act, which was tucked into a government funding bill that President Joe Biden signed Tuesday, represents a major move by federal lawmakers to clamp down on cyberattacks, including increasingly prevalent threats from nation states like Russia and China.
