Hi,
Can someone help me to understand if an ISMS Manual is a must to certify as ISO27001? and why would I need one?

Hi Marywill, you don't need an ISMS Manual. The ISO27K does not require one. All you need to pass the ISO certification is a SOW (statement of work).Why you would want to have one it is not clear to me since the standard does not requires it.

The standard does not require a manual, but if you build one before the certification process you will be setting yourself for success assuming that you have everything else.
