Centripetal Gets ITC To Look Into Computer Security Imports

By Adam Lidgett (May 19, 2022, 6:38 PM EDT) — Centripetal Networks Inc. has won its bid to have the U.S. International Trade Commission look into allegations that a smaller tech company was importing computer security technology products that Centripetal said infringe a trio of its patents.

In a short notice posted on Wednesday, the ITC said it would be investigating allegations included in Centripetal Networks’ April complaint targeting Keysight Technologies Inc. The commission’s notice did not give any reasoning as to why it decided to launch the probe.
