Brave replaces Google with its own privacy-centric search engine

The privacy-centric browser Brave announced it has switched their search engine from Google to its own search engine, Engadget reports. After announcing plans to do so earlier this year, Brave’s new search engine defaults to Brave Search instead of Google, though already-existing settings for users will remain. Brave Search does not track users online, including search history or clicks.
