Apple's ATT framework drives ad prices up

The Wall Street Journal reports on the impact Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework has had on companies and advertisers since launching in April, including Facebook. With approximately 16% of people opting in to data tracking through Apple’s ATT, advertising costs using Facebook are now anywhere from 25% more to 10 times more than before ATT. Companies have been forced to cut back on ad spending and seek other advertising options, such as TikTok or email marketing.
